About the event

A região do Ramo Grande, tradicionalmente conhecida pela riqueza da sua produção agropecuária, pela raça dos bovinos que forneceram a força de trabalho necessária aos trabalhos agrícolas e pelo brilho das festividades em honra do Espírito Santo, salienta-se ainda hoje pela singularidade da sua arquitectura expressa nas casas rurais de lavrador abastado. Esta arquitectura, constantemente referida desde que Vitorino Nemésio chamou a atenção, no Corsário das Ilhas, para este "habitat rural tão nobremente urbano", ainda não foi, contudo, alvo de qualquer estudo sistemático e científico. Com o presente Roteiro e Debate pretende-se dar mais um passo no conhecimento e divulgação do tema da Arquitectura do Ramo Grande procurando, simultaneamente, contribuir para a sua preservação e valorização.

Custo da inscrição: O Roteiro é gratuito e contempla o serviço de autocarro. Cabe, contudo, a cada participante custear o almoço no restaurante "Tasca do Ramos Grande", com o valor de 16,00 € por pessoa (IVA incluído à taxa legal em vigor).

Para as acções que decorrem entre 12 e 15 de Outubro, é obrigatório levantar o bilhete físico no Balcão de Informações da AR&PA 2023, no Centro Interpretativo de Angra do Heroísmo, no dia anterior à actividade ou no próprio dia: o acesso às acções estará dependente da apresentação do respectivo bilhete físico.
