About the event

O Serviço Educativo do Museu de Angra do Heroísmo apresenta uma oficina infantil onde, a partir de uma maleta pedagógica, se pretende dar a conhecer antigas técnicas e aplicações de materiais utilizadas na preparação de tintas, até ao eclodir da Revolução Industrial. Nas ilhas, foram muitas as plantas usadas na tinturaria popular. Destaque para o pastel (Isatis tinctoria), a planta tintureira que esteve ligada à tecelagem nos Açores e que produz um corante preto e uma gama de tons de azul suave, sendo muito apreciada e reconhecida pelos pintores e artistas.

15 de Outubro: 10h às 13h/ 14h às 16h
